Barbara Klein

Born in New York and raised in Northern New Jersey, Barbara arrived in Santa Fe fiesta weekend August of 1990. The intent behind her relocation from the Big Apple to the Southwest was to attend a 9 month intensive study in massage and healing arts . She arrived to Santa Fe a complete stranger. However her insatiable sense of adventure and desire to grow and explore her personal limits served her well. She's never looked back since that glorious early autumn day nearly 20 years ago.

Energetic, personable, and an effective problem solver, Barbara has spent the past 17 years working within the housing industry in Santa Fe. Having earned a BA in Studio Art from Mills College followed by a 6 year stint spent in NYC working in the Art Auction business, the transition into designing, building and marketing homes came quite naturally. Her instrumental involvement with a local custom home building company earned her and the projects she worked on numerous awards and much recognition- 11 Parade of Homes awards as well as featured articles in national publications.

During the past 7 years Barbara has redirected her focus from building homes to building a diverse and successful career assisting people in their quest to either buy or sell property. Real estate has enabled her to find and perfectly incorporate a blend of elements, qualities and talents creating a great fit between "person and profession".
